Delicate shapes are rendered in this 3.5 hr alla prima painting. Reversed from the finishing touches back to the simple start, this painting shows how soft, smooth edges capture the roundness of eggshells and a water filled glass. I talk about my how my mindset was working against me and how I was able to work through it, getting to a painting I am proud of. My palette is also discussed, describing how I automate color mixing.
